This rotating paddle viscometer is used to determine the viscosity of non-Newtonian fluids, e.g. most paints.
Digital version with constant speed motor rotating at 200 r.p.m. for greater accuracy and repeatability, and removing the need for separate weights used in older models.
The quick release chuck enables rapid cleaning and changeover of the paddle and digital display gives the reading in Krebs units, grams or poise.
The Ref 480 uses multipoint calibration across the torque range and a remote calibration key allows the instrument to be secure from accidental adjustment. Magnetic base holds sample container in place.
